Digital identity specialist Signicat has announced four new executive appointments after what it calls “a year of significant growth”.
Joakin Harging has been named as the company’s new Chief of Nordic Enterprise. Harging was previously the chief executive of system integrator NetNordic as well as Radpoint, a cybersecurity firm that NetNordic acquired last year.
Michael Haldbo is Signicat’s new Chief Financial Officer, having previously served as Financial Director of Card Services at Nets and CFO at Unwire.
Bianca Austin has come to the company in the role of its top HR officer, or Chief People Officer. Austin has previously served in human resources roles for Accenture, Business Sweden, and Scandic Hotels.
Finally, Stein-Olav Davidsen has been named as Signicat’s Chief of SMB and Online Channels. Davidsen was the founder and CEO of the digital identity specialist Idfy; in his new role with Signicat, he will oversee the company’s efforts in the areas of product development and commercial expansion across Europe.
In announcing the appointments, Signicat CEO Asger Hattel gestured toward the heightened demand for digital identity services amid a pandemic that has driven much of the business world into online channels. “Against a backdrop of unprecedented global events, Signicat has continued to make progress in the digital identity space,” he said. “We welcome Joakim, Michael, Bianca and Stein-Olav onboard as we provide digital trust across Europe at a time when our services are more essential than ever.”
Hattel is himself a relative newcomer to the company, having been named Signicat’s new CEO at the start of the year, when the company also got a new Chairman of the Board in Johan Tjärnberg.
The new appointments further signal Signicat’s growth this year after the company’s acquisition of Dutch digital identity specialist Connectis in April.
