Airport Biometrics Lead This Week’s Top Stories

At the end of each week, FindBiometrics has been rounding up the site’s most popular posts, and reviewing them for anyone who might have missed the big news. The collection this week spans across a range of topics, from corporate restructuring to national ID to FinTech; but if there’s any trend to be found in the bunch, it may have something to do with airport biometrics, a topic covered in two of the top five articles.

The first is about a major new contract established between AENA and Atos, which will see the organizations working together on a number of airport upgrades including the use of biometric tech for access control and passenger boarding:
