Acuant is celebrating a successful year, announcing that it’s on track for record revenue generation for 2019.
In a statement, the privately held company did not disclose hard numbers pertaining to its sales, but asserted that 2019 will likely prove to have been “a record year in revenue generation”. The IAM specialist added that it’s seeing growing demand for identity verification solutions.
“We have seen an increase in demand for omnichannel identity verification to prevent and thwart fraud globally, across all industries,” elaborated Acuant CEO Yossi Zekri. “Companies want to know who they are transacting with more than ever in the digital era.”
In reviewing its successful year, Acuant highlighted key technological developments including the launch of Acuant Face, an authentication system based on facial recognition, as well as Acuant Review, which adds manual review to the authentication process. 2019 also saw the launch of a plug-and-play identity solution called InfinitID.
Not mentioned in the announcement but also worth noting is Acuant’s success in refining its technology, with the company having announced last month that it had enhanced the image capture and liveness detection capabilities of Acuant Face and its AssureID solution.
“2020 promises more new products focused on serving web and mobile environments in global markets to meet increasing regulations for identity verification,” the company asserted.
