Acuant identity verification technology has been brought into the Okta Integration Network.
The integration means that Okta’s enterprise-focused authentication platform will now offer clients Acuant’s identity document-reading technology, which is designed to assess not only the biographic details found on IDs but also biometric information, ie. the facial images displayed on many such documents. In a statement announcing the partnership, Acuant elaborated that its technology applies “50+ forensic document-specific tests.”
Commenting further on the integration, Okta Integrations and Strategic Partnerships VP Chuck Fontana said, “By working with Acuant to make identity verification an even easier and more secure process, we can help to ensure that the right people can register and get access to the tools and information they need to be productive – helping our joint customers offer a seamless, secure experience for their workers and customers.”
Acuant is showcasing its technology this week at the Oktane18 conference in Las Vegas, an event that will feature multiple high-profile keynote speakers including former President Barack Obama.
