— Click Here to Take the FindBiometrics Year in Review Survey –
FindBiometrics’ annual Year in Review survey is about to close, and that means our dedicated coverage is about to begin.
Each year, the survey results serve up intriguing insights into the state of the biometrics industry. By and large, it’s industry insiders and analysts who complete the survey, bringing informed perspectives to a range of issues; and with 2020 having been a remarkable year whichever way you slice it, the results from the latest survey should yield some very interesting findings.
The survey covers a range of topics, many of which will be explored in-depth once responses have been tabulated and analyzed. We’ll be looking at things like which modalities proved to be the most exciting in 2020; how confident respondents felt about their own organizations meeting KYC and AML requirements; and how many respondents were part of a biometric expedited travel screening program.
We’ll also delve into some of the thornier issues facing the industry, digging into respondents’ perspectives on whether privacy concerns are an obstacle for the industry, how COVID-19 has affected fingerprint biometrics, and whether biometric technology is, broadly speaking, controversial – a question that was itself a bit divisive in last year’s survey.
Of course, before we get to all of that, we need to finish collecting our data. The survey closes on January 15, 2021, and responses are still coming in. That’s because a lot of industry professionals want to make their voices heard, and a number of them also want to be in the running for FindBiometrics’ giveaway of $50 Amazon gift cards.
There is still time to get your name entered into the giveaway raffle, and – perhaps more importantly – to make sure that your two cents make it into the Year in Review survey results for 2020, so if you haven’t already done so, be sure to take a few minutes and fill out the survey now.
