VSBLTY is looking to extend its reach in Europe through a new partnership with Farleigh Consultants. Farleigh is a subsidiary of the Profile Security Group, and will be marketing VSBLTY’s computer vision and analytic solutions to potential customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
In that regard, Farleigh expressed a particular interest in the security applications of VSBLTY’s technology. Most notably, the VSBLTY Vector computer vision software offers real-time facial recognition and weapons recognition capabilities, in addition to license plate identification. The platform can also notify authorities when an unauthorized individual enters a restricted zone, essentially creating a “virtual perimeter” for secure facilities.
Farleigh stressed that its VSBLTY integrations will be fully compliant with Europe’s GDPR privacy regulations. The company (and its Profile Security parent) cited VSBLTY’s successful surveillance deployments in Mexico City as a motivating factor in the partnership.
“VSBLTY has already proven it can reduce crime with its major deployment of smart cameras and other security technology in Mexico City boroughs,” said Farleigh Chairman and Profile Security Services CEO Andrew Prendergast. “We are confident Farleigh Consultants will find a receptive market for VSBLTY’s GDPR-compliant technology in both the public and private sectors in the UK as well as in Europe.”
“We are excited to be represented by Farleigh Consultants whose Profile Security roots will enable us to grow our security technology presence throughout the UK and Western Europe,” added VSBLTY Co-founder and CEO Jay Hutton. “The application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to shield properties, buildings, and other venues is transforming security measures worldwide.”
VSBLTY’s portfolio also includes a range of retail analytics solutions, which have gained traction in convenience stores throughout Mexico and Latin America. The company has started to make in-roads in Europe in the past few months, after providing customer analytic technology for Italy’s Bianchi Vending in October.
