Veza has launched a Non-Human Identity (NHI) Security product as part of its Veza Access platform, aiming to improve how organizations manage the growing number of machine identities used in hybrid, cloud, and AI-driven environments. The new product enables visibility, control, and governance over non-human entities such as service accounts, keys, tokens, and secrets—elements that play an increasingly critical role in automated digital operations.

Securing Machine Identities in Complex IT Ecosystems

Machine identity management has become a top priority for enterprise security teams as digital transformation accelerates. With businesses deploying more automated services, APIs, and AI tools, the number of non-human actors accessing sensitive systems has rapidly expanded. Mismanagement of these identities can lead to over-provisioned access and increased risk of breaches or misuse.

The company’s NHI Security product addresses this by offering centralized oversight across more than 250 systems, including integrations with major cloud providers like AWS and Azure, as well as platforms such as GitHub, Snowflake, and Kubernetes.

The new solution works in tandem with the broader Veza Access platform, providing a unified interface for managing both human and non-human identities. This integration is designed to help organizations apply least-privilege principles consistently and identify unused or risky entitlements, regardless of where the identities originate.

AI-Driven Access Monitoring and Risk Mitigation

Veza’s NHI Security product includes AI-powered features that enable real-time monitoring of permissions and access behaviors. Such capabilities help security teams detect anomalies, enforce least-privilege access, and respond to emerging threats before they can escalate. The system is also designed to automate routine policy enforcement tasks, reducing the operational burden of managing thousands of machine identities.

The product’s launch aligns with broader industry trends. Identity and access management solutions are evolving to address both human and non-human entities, particularly in response to AI expansion and hybrid infrastructure adoption. Other firms in the space, such as Anetac and AuthMind, have also introduced offerings that reflect this shift in enterprise security priorities.
