“… several individuals independent of the company have joined the Board, including Cushman & Wakefield Institutional Investments Senior Managing Director Laurence Blickman and St. Cloud Senior Advisor Marshall Geller.”
VerifyMe has welcomed a new CEO and several new members to its Board of Directors, the company has announced.
It is perhaps the most significant structural transformation for the company since its rebrand from LaserLock in in the summer of 2015. VerifyMe’s previous CEO, Norman Gardner, has stepped down from that position but remains Chairman of the Board; and Patrick White, former CEO of Document Security Systems, has stepped up to take the helm. White has been a consultant to VerifyMe since the beginning of June.
Commenting on his appointment in a statement, White said VerifyMe’s market opportunities “are vast due to the enormous and growing problems of counterfeiting and identity theft and the inherent challenges in preventing significant monetary damages from these crimes.”
Meanwhile, several individuals independent of the company have joined the Board, including Cushman & Wakefield Institutional Investments Senior Managing Director Laurence Blickman and St. Cloud Senior Advisor Marshall Geller. Furthermore, investment specialist Lawrence Schafran, who joined the company’s Board in September of 2015, will retain his role, as will IP monetization specialist Claudio Ballard.
