TTEC Digital and VoxEQ Partner to Bring Real-Time Voice Bio-Signal Fraud Detection to SmartApps Cloud

TTEC Digital has announced a new partnership with VoxEQ to integrate real-time voice biometric fraud detection into its SmartApps Cloud platform. The collaboration focuses on enhancing security for financial services contact centers, where rising rates of phone-based fraud have put pressure on organizations to strengthen identity verification without adding customer friction.

Beyond Traditional Voiceprints

At the core of the partnership is VoxEQ’s Verify solution, which uses voice biometrics to authenticate callers within the first seconds of an interaction. Unlike traditional voiceprint systems that require prior enrollment, Verify analyzes unique bio-signals present in every voice, enabling it to verify both first-time and returning callers instantly. The system also detects synthetic voices and imposters, a growing concern as fraudsters increasingly exploit AI-generated deepfake audio.

The integration is designed to streamline authentication while reducing Average Handle Time in contact centers. By removing the need for manual security questions or cumbersome enrollment steps, agents can focus on delivering service while maintaining robust fraud prevention. Importantly, the solution does not store personally identifiable information or voiceprints, aligning with privacy-first principles.

Executive Perspectives

“Our partnership with VoxEQ is a game-changer for our SmartApps Cloud clients,” said Dave Seybold, CEO of TTEC Digital. “We’re delivering a cost-effective, scalable, AI-powered solution that brings powerful fraud detection to organizations of all sizes. By analyzing unique voice bio-signals rather than traditional voiceprints, we can provide comprehensive protection for all callers while maintaining operational efficiency.”

Jack Caven, CEO of VoxEQ, underscored the urgency of deploying new defenses in customer service environments. “Phone-based fraud is rising fast, and customer trust is at stake,” he said. “With seamless voice bio-signal analysis in SmartApps, contact centers can detect imposters in seconds and protect every caller—even those who have never been seen before.”

Deployment and Market Focus

The solution will be made available to existing SmartApps Cloud customers through a platform update, with new implementations beginning in the fourth quarter of 2025. VoxEQ has emphasized the speed of deployment, highlighting that the system can be integrated in as little as one day, a significant advantage for organizations seeking rapid adoption of new security measures.

Financial services remain the primary focus for this integration, reflecting the sector’s heightened exposure to fraud and regulatory demands for stronger identity controls. The addition of real-time biometric analysis provides a toolset for detecting advanced fraud attempts while reducing operational costs associated with lengthy verification processes.
