Trulioo Brings GlobalGateway to Greece and Israel

Trulioo continues to extend GlobalGateway coverage to new territories. The company has announced that it now offers GlobalGateway services in Israel and Greece, providing organizations in both countries with a compliant identity verification solution.

According to Trulioo, the two countries present very different challenges from an identity perspective. Greece still has a preference for cash payments, to the point that 15 percent of the population does not yet have a bank account. That limits the utility of traditional verification tools like credit checks, and creates a need for solutions that can draw on a wider range of data sources to ensure inclusion.

Israel, on the other hand, is a burgeoning tech hub with a modern security infrastructure. The government is currently pushing new privacy laws to help prevent data breaches, and any identity verification providers that want to operate in the country will need to be able to comply with those stricter regulations.

From Trulioo’s perspective, the fact that GlobalGateway can meet the demands of both countries demonstrates the flexibility of the solution, and shows how it can adapt and scale as technology improves. GlobalGateway is compatible with a wide range of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and uses face and document recognition to match a selfie to the image on an authenticated photo ID.

Trulioo has also expanded its GlobalGateway network to Pakistan and Kenya in the past few years. The company is now trying to make the platform more user-friendly after acquiring the no-code specialist HelloFlow earlier in the month.
