Sumsub has launched an Auth0 Marketplace integration that lets businesses add identity verification, AML checks, and fraud controls directly into registration and login flows. The integration is designed for organizations that need to verify users before granting access to regulated or sensitive services.
The workflow connects Auth0 authentication events with Sumsub verification. When a business configures the integration, users can be directed to Sumsub during registration or login so that identity checks can be completed before access is granted. After verification, the user can continue through the authentication process.
Sumsub says the integration can support KYC and AML checks during sign-up or sign-in, maintain audit-ready verification records inside Sumsub, and reduce the engineering work required to connect verification to authentication. The company is positioning the tool for fintech, crypto, trading, marketplace, and other higher-risk digital platforms where access decisions may depend on verified identity status.
The integration is available through Auth0’s marketplace rather than as a custom one-off connector. Businesses using Auth0 can install it and configure verification flows based on their onboarding and compliance requirements, allowing identity checks to become part of access management rather than a separate post-registration process.
The launch builds on Sumsub’s broader push to make identity checks reusable across compliance and access-control workflows. The company recently integrated with Chainlink to support reusable, privacy-preserving KYC across blockchain networks, and has continued to expand its marketplace of identity, compliance, and fraud-prevention integrations.
The Auth0 connector gives product and compliance teams a way to define verification gates around account creation and account access. That can include checking identity status before a user enters an application, rather than relying only on a password, passkey, or other authentication credential.
