Socure Launches SocureGov RiskOS Platform for Government Identity and Fraud Prevention

Socure has launched SocureGov RiskOS, a unified platform designed specifically for government agencies to manage identity verification and fraud prevention at scale.

The platform integrates identity proofing, fraud detection, and program integrity into a single intelligent control plane, supporting the full constituent lifecycle from onboarding and progressive verification to authentication, payments, and account recovery.

RiskOS consolidates over 180 third-party services into a single platform, delivering fast, explainable, and audit-ready decisions. The flexible architecture allows real-time updates to standards and fraud patterns without rebuilding systems.

The launch builds on Socure’s partnership with Login.gov, announced in 2024 as part of GSA’s NextGen identity proofing program. Socure secured FedRAMP Moderate authorization in 2025, positioning the platform for federal agency adoption.

RiskOS leverages Socure’s identity verification capabilities, which processed 2.7 billion requests and identified 92 percent of ID fraud in 2024.

The launch addresses the challenge of fragmented identity systems in government, which create slow decision cycles and leave agencies vulnerable to sophisticated fraud attacks while creating friction for legitimate users. Many government agencies currently rely on disparate vendor systems for different identity and fraud functions, requiring manual integration and maintenance.

The RiskOS platform provides government agencies with a single interface for managing identity verification, fraud detection, and compliance requirements across programs. The system’s audit capabilities are designed to meet government transparency and accountability standards.

Socure joins a growing number of identity verification vendors pursuing the federal government market, including competitors that have secured FedRAMP authorization for federal use.

The platform is available now for government agencies with FedRAMP Moderate authorization.
