Socure Joins World Economic Forum Unicorn Community Ahead of Davos 2026

Socure has announced that it has joined the World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Community, an invite-only network for private companies valued at more than $1 billion. The company also confirmed that its CEO, Johnny Ayers, plans to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos-Klosters, scheduled for January 19 to 23.

In its announcement, Socure positioned its participation as an opportunity to engage in discussions around trusted identity in the context of AI agents and increasingly interconnected financial systems. The company said it intends to focus on identity challenges emerging from cross-border digital infrastructure and the growing role of automated systems in financial decision-making and transactions.

Socure cited its own scale metrics in the release, stating that it serves more than 3,000 customers across 190 countries and processes approximately 4.6 billion identity verification requests annually. These figures were presented as evidence of the company’s global footprint and relevance to discussions on digital trust and fraud prevention at an international policy forum.

The company outlined several themes it expects to emphasize at Davos, including securing borderless financial systems, identity in the age of AI agents, and the detection of global identity fraud and large-scale AI-enabled attacks. Socure also referenced the role of digital identity in emerging financial instruments, including stablecoins, as part of its policy and industry engagement agenda.

The World Economic Forum has confirmed that the 2026 Annual Meeting will take place under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue.” According to WEF, the meeting will focus on geopolitical, economic, and technological challenges, with an emphasis on collaboration between governments, industry, and civil society.

Socure’s inclusion in the Unicorn Community places it among a cohort of high-growth private companies that WEF engages with on innovation and policy issues throughout the year. Attendance at Davos typically involves participation in panels, closed-door sessions, and bilateral meetings, although Socure has not detailed specific sessions or commitments beyond its general thematic focus.
