Silverfort has announced the launch of Runtime Access Protection (RAP) as part of its Identity Security Platform. The new offering aims to provide comprehensive protection across hybrid environments without requiring modifications to existing Identity Access Management (IAM) infrastructure.

The RAP solution natively integrates into enterprise identity infrastructure to deliver real-time visibility and security controls while maintaining seamless user experience. It specifically addresses previously challenging areas including non-human identities (NHIs), legacy systems, and IT/OT infrastructure protection.

“Active identity protection is no longer optional—it’s critical to the health of a company’s cybersecurity program,” said Rob Ainscough, Chief Identity Security Advisor at Silverfort. “Enterprises need a solution that can surface every identity—even their unknowns—so they have a foundational understanding of what’s in their environment.”

The platform currently analyzes over 5 billion authentications daily and detects an average of 34,000 identity exposures and threats per customer. Notable clients include Airbus, Rio Tinto, Coop, Kayak, Ryanair, and Channel 4.

Alongside the technological announcement, Silverfort unveiled a new brand identity reflecting its evolution into a global organization. The company has expanded to over 450 employees worldwide and recently secured $116 million in Series D funding. This growth includes strategic developments such as the acquisition of Rezonate and the launch of new security offerings including Privileged Access Security (PAS) and an Identity-First Incident Response solution.

Hed Kovetz, CEO and Co-Founder of Silverfort, addressed the industry’s challenges, stating, “For years, enterprises have struggled with a patchwork of on-prem identity tools, multiple cloud IdPs, and fragmented security solutions—which are built in silos, missing the bigger picture, and leaving many critical assets exposed.” This fragmentation challenge echoes industry trends that have seen other major players pursuing strategic acquisitions to enhance their platforms and simplify deployment.

The company reports that its solution deploys 17 times faster than traditional identity security solutions, serving over 1,000 enterprise customers globally.
