Digital identity leader Signicat and AI-powered KYC platform Strise have announced a strategic partnership to integrate customer verification and anti-money laundering (AML) automation for financial institutions.
The partnership combines Signicat’s digital identity verification capabilities with Strise’s AML platform. This follows Signicat’s recent expansion into the Asia-Pacific region through its partnership with AsiaVerify, extending the company’s global reach.
The joint solution will provide financial institutions with streamlined customer onboarding, enhanced KYC processes, automated AML checks, and risk assessment tools. This integration complements Signicat’s recent addition of 3D face-scanning technology to its MobileID system.
“We’re bringing together Signicat’s trusted identity verification and orchestration platform with Strise’s flexible AML solutions to create a powerful solution that drives both simplicity and reliability,” said Stein-Olav Davidsen, Signicat’s Chief of SMB and Online Channels. The company has expanded its capabilities through strategic partnerships, including its 2022 acquisition of Sphonic, which strengthened its digital identity portfolio.
The partnership addresses growing demands on financial institutions to enhance their KYC and AML processes while maintaining efficiency. This comes amid increased regulatory requirements and digital banking adoption, making automated compliance solutions essential.
The collaboration extends Signicat’s history of successful partnerships, including the 2018 expansion of the Itsme platform across Europe.
The integrated platform will launch for financial institutions and regulated businesses in Q2 2025, starting in European markets before global expansion.
