Shufti Pro is looking to expand its network and build more business relationships at this week’s iFX Expo event in Dubai. The iFX Expo is one of the biggest FinTech events in the world, and is running from February 22-24 in Za’abeel Hall 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
At iFX, Shufti Pro CEO Victor Fredung is leading a delegation with a wealth of experience in the FinTech sector. The company noted that iFX focuses primarily on B2B relationships, and that its identity verification technology can help many of those businesses meet international Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Shufti Pro’s current client list includes companies like Opal, which offers more traditional payment and financial services, as well as more cutting-edge start-ups like Morpho Labs and 99Starz. Morpho Labs develops open-source blockchain platforms, while 99Starz deals primarily in NFTs.
Shufti Pro has also enabled secure onboarding for more public-facing apps like Vengo, which offers ride hailing services. In each case, the company’s solution uses face and document recognition to ensure that the people using the service are in fact who they claim to be. The platform has been nominated for a 2022 RegTech Insight Award in the “Best Solution for Managing Financial Crime,” category, and has already won a Regulation Asia Award for Excellence for its onboarding technology.
In a statement, Fredung expressed his team’s excitement about “attending the iFX Expo in Dubai and engaging with the FinTech, trading, and finance influencers about our automated KYC and AML solutions.”
iFX is organized by Ultimate Fintech. Shufti Pro’s identity verification technology has been on display at booth 55 throughout the event. The platform can read modern NFC chips thanks to an update that was released last April, while interested customers can find the platform on the Salesforce AppExchange or through various resellers.
