There’s been a little shake-up at Sweden’s Precise Biometrics. A big shareholder, Skagen Fonder, has sold off its shares, causing the firm’s representative on the Nomination Committee, Ole Soeberg, to resign his post there. The Nomination Committee then asked HJ Byggkonsulter AB to join, and that firm agreed and sent Uno Jonsson as their representative.
Precise Biometrics specializes in fingerprint recognition technology, and aims for its products to be applied in such areas as mobile devices and bank cards. These fields are ripe with opportunities at the moment, and so it makes sense that the company wants to solidify their leadership going forward.
