SAFR will be bringing its wares to next month’s ISC West event in Las Vegas. The RealNetworks subsidiary will set up shop at booth #11109, where it will be showcasing a range of computer vision offerings.
Featured products include SAFR for Surveillance, SAFR Inside, and SAFR for Access Control. The former is a Video Management offering that is compatible with Genetec, Milestone, Avigion, Digifort, Panasonic, and Geutebrück systems, while SAFR Inside is an edge product that allows customers to process video footage on the camera itself. The utility offers support for the NVIDIA and Android platforms, and it has also been fully integrated with Axis cameras. In that regard, Axis will be conducting its own SAFR Inside demos during ISC West at booth #14051.
The SAFR for Access Control solution, meanwhile, uses facial recognition to enable touchless access control. The company will be highlighting the platform’s improved Passive Liveness detection feature during ISC West.
“SAFR has the best combination of live video performance and low bias of any facial recognition system on the market,” said SAFR VP and Computer Vision GM Brad Donaldson. “We’re looking forward to connecting with everyone at ISC West again to show the continued evolution of this powerful platform.”
SAFR’s products are able to process footage from dedicated security cameras, and from other camera-equipped IoT devices. The technology can perform facial recognition in real time, and will notify administrators if it spots someone on a watchlist. It will also create a record of access events, and send an alert if an unregistered individual tries to enter to a secure area or system.
Convergint Technologies recently agreed to offer SAFR’s products to its own customers in the United States. ISC West is scheduled to run from July 19-21 at the Sands Convention Center, and marks a return to in-person programming after last year’s show migrated to a virtual format in response to COVID-19.
