RightCrowd and Veridas have announced a strategic integration that combines physical identity management with facial authentication technology to enhance secure workforce access. The partnership aims to streamline entry processes while maintaining strict security compliance for organizations managing employee and visitor access.
The integration merges RightCrowd’s SmartAccess system with Veridas’ facial authentication technology, which has previously demonstrated strong performance in NIST testing rankings. The combined solution enables remote identity pre-validation through a secure digital process that includes government ID verification and facial authentication, without storing actual facial images.
The news comes as Veridas continues its expansion in the global market and builds on its track record of implementing biometric solutions across various sectors, including recent deployments in sports venues and entertainment facilities.
“Our integration with Veridas represents a major step forward in secure workforce access, allowing organizations to validate identities with speed and accuracy while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency,” said Darren Bain, VP of Strategic Initiatives at RightCrowd.
The system allows authorized individuals to gain entry through facial authentication or a unique QR code, eliminating traditional bottlenecks at entry points. When required, the solution can automatically trigger additional security measures such as visitor badge printing or supplementary check-in procedures.
Kevin Vreeland, USA General Manager at Veridas, emphasized the integration’s focus on security and user experience: “By integrating with RightCrowd, we are reinforcing our mission to create a seamless, secure, and frictionless access experience that protects both businesses and individuals.”
As organizations face increasing scrutiny over biometric data usage, with recent cases highlighting regulatory compliance risks, the integration includes built-in privacy protections and compliance measures. The solution is currently being used by Fortune 50 companies across more than 85 countries.
