Raonsecure and MONITORAPP Partner on Zero Trust Cloud Security

Two South Korean cybersecurity companies, Raonsecure and MONITORAPP, have announced a strategic partnership to enhance zero trust cloud security solutions. The collaboration combines Raonsecure’s authentication expertise with MONITORAPP’s web application firewall and database security capabilities.

The partnership will integrate Raonsecure’s TouchEn OnePass passwordless multi-factor authentication solution with MONITORAPP’s AIWAF-VE virtual edition web application firewall to strengthen security for web applications and APIs in cloud environments.

The timing is notable for Raonsecure, which has recently secured major contracts. The company has been selected to provide simplified login authentication for South Korea’s National Tax Service and has won a $2.7 million contract with Japanese digital bank Sumishin SBI Net Bank for biometric authentication solutions.

The partnership implements zero trust architecture principles, requiring continuous verification of users, devices, and applications accessing network resources. This approach reflects the broader industry shift toward zero trust security models for cloud infrastructure.

While initially targeting the South Korean market, the companies plan to expand their reach globally. Their combined solution addresses security needs for organizations migrating to cloud environments.
