Princeton Identity has named Brian K. Tuskan as its newest Executive Advisor, marking a high-profile addition to the biometric technology developer’s leadership team. Tuskan, who previously served as Chief Security Officer at Microsoft and ServiceNow, will advise the company on strategic growth and the expansion of its iris and multimodal biometric technologies.
Tuskan brings more than two decades of experience in public safety and global corporate security. He began his career as a police detective and SWAT officer before moving into corporate leadership, where he established security and intelligence-driven operations at some of the world’s largest technology firms. In addition to his new role at Princeton Identity, Tuskan also mentors startups focused on artificial intelligence, safety, and security innovation, and founded Cop to Corporate, a nonprofit that helps law enforcement professionals transition to private-sector careers.
“Brian is an industry icon with a remarkable ability to bridge real-world security needs and emerging technologies,” said Princeton Identity CEO Bobby Varma. “His leadership and insights will be invaluable as we continue to expand the reach of our Iris-on-the-Move™ technology into new markets and use cases. We’re thrilled to have him on board as a trusted advisor during this exciting stage of growth.”
Tuskan said he was drawn to Princeton Identity’s track record of technical innovation and growing global footprint. “I’m honored to join Princeton Identity at such a pivotal time in the evolution of biometrics and identity assurance,” he said. “The company’s iris-based authentication technology is redefining what secure, seamless access can be — and I’m excited to help guide its continued innovation and impact across global markets.”
Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, Princeton Identity develops and manufactures iris-based biometric systems for access control, time and attendance, point-of-sale, and border applications. Its Iris-on-the-Move™ technology enables fast, contactless identity verification, and its scalable identity management software supports installations across enterprise, government, and critical infrastructure environments.
The company has expanded its commercial deployments in recent years as demand grows for high-assurance, frictionless access technologies. Tuskan’s appointment is expected to strengthen its leadership position in a market increasingly focused on secure and seamless identity solutions.
