Precise Biometrics has announced a series of updates and strategic developments in its visitor management business, reflecting ongoing growth in cloud adoption, customer acquisition, and product functionality. The company’s updated solution, now rebranded as Precise Visit by EastCoast, introduces new features designed to improve usability, security, and the visitor experience.
Product Enhancements and Cloud Migration
The latest updates to Precise Visit by EastCoast include new functionality that streamlines the check-in process for visitors, including those arriving spontaneously or receiving packages. The system also supports visits requiring signed confidentiality agreements or biometric verification. New features include improved support for single sign-on (SSO), integrations with access management systems, and a hardware-free deployment option tailored to smaller organizations or clients seeking rapid implementation.
Visitors can now authenticate using biometrics or a QR code, enabling a seamless check-in and access experience. These improvements are part of a broader transition to cloud infrastructure, which Precise says provides scalability, faster deployment, and enhanced security by design.
Geographic and Customer Base Expansion
Precise Biometrics is planning a soft launch of the rebranded solution throughout 2025. Earlier this year, the company announced its entry into the Norwegian market and has received positive early feedback. Although specific customer wins in Norway have not yet been disclosed, the company reports continued traction across the Nordics and internationally.
Recent customer wins include framework agreements with several large international industrial groups and deployments by smaller organizations such as SJ Stockholmståg, Struers, and Civil Rights Defenders. The company also reports that 100 percent of new customer contracts are cloud-based, and existing clients are increasingly expanding deployments to new sites in countries such as Japan, Australia, and Germany.
Joakim Nydemark, CEO of Precise Biometrics, commented, “We are pleased to see that the launch of new key functions for Precise Visit by EastCoast, combined with our increased sales efforts has been well received, leading to several new customer agreements – including several frame agreements with large international organizations.”
The company says it will continue rolling out additional functionality and integrations throughout 2025 to support ongoing growth and appeal to a broader range of customer segments.
