Nuggets’ decentralized identity platform is now available to U.S. federal government agencies through Carahsoft’s General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule, broadening access to digital identity tools designed to address verification challenges in the era of autonomous AI systems.
Federal Procurement Access
The platform became available today, via Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule No. 47QSWA18D008F. It can also be procured through other federal contract vehicles, including SEWP V contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B, as well as the ITES-SW2 Contract. Carahsoft, serving as Nuggets’ Master Government Aggregator since 2024, also enables access through NASPO, OMNIA, and E&I agreements, simplifying procurement for agencies seeking to strengthen digital trust infrastructure.
“Being awarded a position on the GSA Schedule represents a significant milestone for Nuggets and validates our commitment to supporting Federal agencies’ digital transformation initiatives,” said Seema Khinda Johnson, Co-Founder and CCO of Nuggets. “This contract addition will enable Government agencies to directly procure our trust layer for safe and scalable agentic AI deployment, while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.”
Identity Verification for the AI Era
The company describes its platform as a “trust layer” designed to address what industry experts call an emerging “identity authenticity crisis.” As autonomous AI agents become more common in government operations, agencies face growing challenges in verifying both human and machine actors. Nuggets’ solution incorporates decentralized and self-sovereign identity frameworks, built on open standards such as W3C Verifiable Credentials, to provide cryptographically secure proof of identity and integrity.
The platform also aligns with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) assurance levels, meeting Identity Assurance Level 2 (IAL2), Identity Assurance Level 3 (IAL3), and Authentication Assurance Level 2 (AAL2) requirements. These benchmarks support ongoing federal initiatives to modernize digital identity systems while maintaining compliance with stringent security and privacy standards.
With availability through Carahsoft’s established government procurement channels, federal agencies now have streamlined access to Nuggets’ identity platform to bolster security in digital transformation projects and prepare for the integration of agentic AI systems.
