Neurotechnology Launches Multilingual NLP SDK with Baltic Language Support

Neurotechnology has announced the release of a new Software Development Kit (SDK) designed for multilingual Natural Language Processing, expanding the company’s portfolio into speech and language technologies. The SDK supports English alongside Baltic languages Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian, offering developers tools to build AI-powered applications while maintaining privacy through on-premises deployment. The company says the SDK is aimed at organizations that want local control of their data rather than relying on external cloud platforms.

Core speech processing features

The SDK provides three primary modules for speech analysis. Its Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) engine transcribes spoken audio into text, while the Speaker Diarization module separates dialogue by speaker to clarify who is speaking in multiparty conversations. A Voice Activity Detector (VAD) helps distinguish speech from silence, which can streamline processing by focusing resources on active dialogue. Together, these components enable developers to create transcription, call analysis, and real-time conversation monitoring tools that work across several languages rarely supported by global providers.

Neurotechnology notes that this SDK builds on its experience with voice recognition technologies, including earlier products such as VeriSpeak and the MegaMatcher biometric platform. By integrating with these existing biometric tools, the new SDK allows organizations to combine speaker recognition with advanced transcription and diarization, supporting use cases where both identity and content matter, such as in secure communications or forensic analysis. The company has previously developed biometric solutions for face, fingerprint, and iris recognition, and this release extends its reach into broader voice and language applications.

Privacy and deployment flexibility

One of the SDK’s defining features is its emphasis on local deployment. By running on servers managed directly by the customer, the platform reduces reliance on cloud services and gives organizations greater control over sensitive data. Neurotechnology highlights this as an advantage for customers in sectors such as government, healthcare, and financial services, where data protection requirements are strict. The SDK is available for both Windows and Linux environments and includes bindings for C, C++, Java, .NET, and Python, making it adaptable to a wide range of development settings. According to company materials, the toolkit can be scaled from small deployments to enterprise-level installations, though performance benchmarks and resource requirements have not yet been disclosed.

By emphasizing support for underrepresented languages and prioritizing on-premises deployment, Neurotechnology is positioning its new SDK as a practical option for organizations that need both advanced voice technology and data protection. The release reflects a wider industry trend of coupling speech recognition with biometric systems, a strategy seen in deployments across finance, border security, and healthcare.
