Moca Network Embeds Decentralized Identity Credentials Into Turkish Ticketing Platform Biletinial

Moca Network and Biletinial have formed a strategic partnership to integrate decentralized identity infrastructure into Biletinial’s Turkish online ticketing platform, which serves approximately 6 million active users and 12.4 million average monthly users across more than 3,000 venues in 63 Turkish cities. The integration will embed Moca Network’s AIR Kit SDK, comprising universal account, wallet, and identity modules, directly into the Biletinial platform.

Through the integration, Biletinial users will be able to access verifiable proof of attendance, personalized loyalty rewards, and participate in secure resale markets. The initial suite of verifiable credentials issued by Biletinial will include age verification, geographic attributes, event participation history, spending patterns, entertainment preferences, and cryptocurrency affinity, along with additional user-permissioned data types. Upon completion, credentials issued by Biletinial will be fully interoperable with the broader Moca Network ecosystem, enabling access to cross-platform benefits beyond the ticketing context. The credentials are based on on-chain behavior and user-permissioned data rather than physiological biometric capture.

“By incorporating decentralized identity, we are establishing a model for mainstream Web3 adoption,” said Kenneth Shek, managing director at Moca Network. Ulaş Uslu, CEO of Biletinial, said the integration “enables us to strengthen operational integrity while providing our audience with new forms of value.”

Moca Network describes itself as building a chain-agnostic decentralized digital identity network serving as the identity ecosystem for Animoca Brands, connecting more than 570 portfolio companies and reaching more than 700 million addressable users. The Biletinial deal follows earlier Moca Network deployments with SK Planet’s OK Cashbag, Oyunfor, and OneFootball. The deployment enters a market shaped by emerging regulatory considerations. Biletinial’s inclusion of cryptocurrency affinity as a verifiable credential will operate under Turkey’s mandatory crypto identity verification rules, which require KYC for transactions above a 15,000-lira threshold.

At a national infrastructure level, the integration also enters a market where Turkey’s blockchain-integrated national digital ID system is already in rollout, with smart ID cards distributed across the country’s population. The AIR Kit credential architecture builds on W3C’s decentralized identifier standards work, which provides the interoperability framework enabling credentials issued by Biletinial to be recognized across the broader Moca Network ecosystem. Biletinial has recently expanded operations to Germany through pickaseat.de and covers concerts, sports, theater, and festival events across Turkey.
