Mitek Systems has announced a strategic partnership with FICO, making its Verified Identity Platform (MiVIP) available through the FICO Marketplace. The integration enables enterprise customers to embed Mitek’s identity verification and fraud intelligence capabilities directly into FICO Platform decisioning workflows.
The partnership brings MiVIP’s full capability stack into the FICO decisioning environment. That stack includes document authenticity verification, biometric facial matching, passive liveness detection, deepfake and injection attack detection, and AML and PEP screening. Key enterprise use cases covered include digital onboarding, account recovery, step-up authentication, and risk decision-making. MiPass, Mitek’s biometric authentication product, integrates with MiVIP to enable passwordless login and risk-based step-up authentication using biometrics enrolled during onboarding.
The FICO Marketplace is an analytics and AI ecosystem designed as a composable decisioning hub connecting enterprises to data providers, AI models, optimization tools, and risk decisioning rulesets. Mitek joined the marketplace alongside firms including LexisNexis, Prove, Plaid, and SentiLink.
The FICO integration makes MiVIP’s full capability stack available within enterprise decisioning workflows, including the deepfake defenses introduced in Mitek’s Digital Fraud Defender launch. MiVIP, which debuted as a low-code onboarding platform in its 2022 introduction, has since added deepfake detection and injection attack defenses to the capability stack now available through FICO. The FICO partnership follows Mitek’s earlier PingOne DaVinci integration, continuing a strategy of embedding MiVIP fraud detection capabilities within enterprise orchestration and decisioning platforms.
The announcement follows Mitek’s record Q2 2026 results, with the company raising its full-year revenue guidance to $190 million to $196 million as demand for its fraud prevention products accelerates. Mitek Chief Product Officer Chris Briggs said the FICO partnership will help the world’s largest companies detect and prevent AI-generated attacks faster and with more accuracy, making digital interactions more secure.
MiVIP is built on a digital-first architecture, offering hosted UI, low-code SDKs, and full API integration paths. Its document verification layer uses deep neural networks and supervised learning models to detect forgeries, template manipulation, and digital alterations.
