Minop Cloud has launched a redesigned interface for its cloud-based biometric time and attendance platform, introducing updates aimed at improving usability, speed, and overall workflow efficiency. The overhaul is described by the company as its most comprehensive platform revision to date, with enhancements for both HR managers and employees.
Focus on Speed, Simplicity, and Mobile Consistency
The redesigned system introduces a cleaner layout with simplified menus, bold typography, and more intuitive dashboard graphs and alerts. Navigation has been streamlined across desktop and mobile platforms, allowing users quicker access to attendance logs, payroll exports, and compliance tools. According to the company’s internal benchmarks, dashboard load times have been cut by more than 50 percent in typical environments.
The release comes amid growing interest in biometric attendance tools in sectors such as healthcare and manufacturing, where fast, verifiable time-tracking remains a priority.
Minop Cloud says it is one of the few cloud-based biometric time and attendance systems offering a real-time attendance API. Competitors such as M2SYS’s CloudABIS and NCheck’s Bio Attendance platform also offer API integrations and payroll-compatible exports, reflecting a maturing competitive landscape for biometric HR tech.
Compliance and Data Privacy Considerations
The rollout comes at a time when legal frameworks are increasingly scrutinizing biometric deployments in the workplace. A ruling by the Bombay High Court in April 2025 barred employers from enforcing biometric attendance without explicit employee consent. In India, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act also imposes strict conditions on the handling of sensitive personal data, including biometric identifiers. In the European Union, workplace biometrics must adhere to GDPR standards.
Minop Cloud, supported by Mantra Softech India Pvt. Ltd., continues to expand its presence in the biometric and HRMS markets. The company says the redesign addresses common pain points in daily HR operations, particularly by reducing the number of steps required for routine tasks such as time approvals and attendance audits.
