Security awareness and human risk management company KnowBe4 has named Yuneeb Khan as Chief Financial Officer and Kelly Morgan as Chief Customer Officer, adding two senior executives as the company expands its focus on human and agentic AI risk.
Khan’s appointment was announced yesterday. He succeeds Bob Reich, who will remain as an advisor through Q1 2026 to support the transition. Khan brings experience as CFO of Trellix and prior roles at Quotient Technologies, Nielsen, GE, and PwC. In his new position, he will lead worldwide finance and work with KnowBe4’s leadership and board on growth strategy and execution.
“Yuneeb’s extensive experience makes him the ideal leader,” said KnowBe4 CEO Bryan Palma in the company’s announcement.
Morgan’s appointment was first announced last week. She will oversee the full customer lifecycle at KnowBe4, spanning Customer Success, Support, Managed Services, and Professional Services, and will report directly to Palma. Morgan joins from Docusign, where she served as Chief Customer Officer. She previously held Chief Customer Officer and general manager roles at Sykes and founded the consultancy Seven TwoSeven.
“I am excited to join KnowBe4,” Morgan said in the announcement.
KnowBe4 describes itself as focused on human and agentic AI risk management, a positioning that intersects with the broader identity security market as organizations grapple with securing both human users and the AI agents that increasingly act on their behalf. The challenge of managing non-human identities in cloud environments has drawn significant industry attention, with vendors such as Saviynt and Wiz pursuing partnerships to govern AI agents across cloud environments. CrowdStrike has also moved into the space through its acquisition of identity security company SGNL to protect AI agent identities.
The dual appointments strengthen KnowBe4’s executive bench at a time when the company is positioning for growth in the AI risk management segment. CFO and CCO hires at this level typically signal a company preparing for scaled commercial operations, whether through organic growth, new product investment, or capital markets activity. KnowBe4 has not indicated specific near-term plans in either announcement but described both executives as key to supporting its long-term strategy.
