Keyo Appoints Rudy Dajie as CEO to Lead Palm Biometrics Expansion

Biometric identity firm Keyo has appointed Rudy Dajie as its Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds co-founder Jaxon Klein and will guide the company’s strategy to expand its palm-based authentication platform across healthcare, retail, hospitality, workplace access, and payment markets.

Dajie previously founded and led Apothecare Pharmacy LLC, a Massachusetts-based institutional pharmacy, serving as CEO and Partner from 2012 until its acquisition. His experience in building and scaling regulated businesses is seen as a strong fit for Keyo’s next phase of growth. The appointment represents a shift from founder-led operations to a focus on scaling deployments internationally and across multiple industries.

Keyo’s platform combines palm prints, subdermal vein mapping, and liveness detection for contactless identity verification. Its most recent scanner, introduced in April 2025, is 50 percent smaller than the previous generation while maintaining a reported False Rejection Rate of 0.01 percent and a False Acceptance Rate of 0.0000032 percent. These specifications are positioned as competitive within the broader biometrics market, where accuracy and resilience against spoofing are critical.

The company was founded in 2015 in San Francisco and has focused on palm biometrics for payments, loyalty, workplace access, and healthcare applications. In July of this year, Keyo partnered with Al.Tech in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to launch the MainMoney digital payments platform, a project designed to demonstrate scalability in emerging markets. The company’s stated priority is to strengthen convenience and privacy while expanding into new use cases where secure, low-friction authentication is in demand.

Keyo’s leadership change underscores its intent to compete aggressively in this expanding sector. With Dajie at the helm, the company is expected to focus on scaling partnerships, refining its hardware and software, and positioning its palm-based solution as a privacy-conscious alternative to other biometric modalities.
