KeyData Cyber has acquired BeyondID in a strategic move that brings together two leading identity security providers to form one of the largest pure-play identity security firms in North America. The deal combines KeyData’s end-to-end identity and access management services with BeyondID’s AI-powered managed identity solutions, strengthening capabilities for the Okta platform and zero-trust architectures.

Expanding Capabilities Across Identity Platforms

The acquisition unites more than 200 identity experts into a single team with expertise spanning Identity and Access Management (IAM), Customer IAM, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Governance and Administration. This consolidation is part of a broader wave of mergers and acquisitions in the identity security sector. Earlier in 2025, for example, CyberArk acquired Zilla Security for up to $175 million to enhance its identity governance capabilities.

One of the most notable assets in the deal is BeyondID’s Identity Command Center, an AI-powered platform designed to streamline service delivery and improve client experiences. The technology will support KeyData Cyber’s global delivery model across a broad range of identity platforms, including BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Microsoft, Okta, PingIdentity, SailPoint, and Saviynt.

“Together, we are building a powerhouse in identity security,” said Dustin Hoff, CEO of KeyData Cyber. “By joining forces with BeyondID, we are gaining expanded geographic reach, wider technology expertise, and Identity Command Center, an AI-powered technology platform to streamline service delivery and provide our clients with the best experience in the industry.”

Strategic Benefits and Future Operations

According to the companies, the combination will allow KeyData Cyber to deliver a more comprehensive set of identity solutions to enterprises and public sector clients facing growing cybersecurity threats. BeyondID’s managed identity services complement KeyData’s consulting, integration, and governance capabilities, creating a stronger end-to-end offering for organizations adopting cloud-based security architectures and zero-trust principles.

BeyondID CEO Arun Shrestha described the merger as a turning point for the company’s clients. “This is a pivotal moment for BeyondID and our clients. By joining forces with KeyData Cyber, we are combining deep identity expertise with AI-driven innovation to deliver a more complete, end-to-end security experience,” he said.

Following the acquisition, BeyondID will continue operating as a KeyData Cyber company, retaining its focus on managed identity solutions while benefiting from the expanded resources, geographic reach, and partner ecosystem of the combined organization.

The companies say the move reflects the increasing importance of identity security in protecting both private and public sector systems, as organizations navigate complex digital transformation initiatives and heightened regulatory expectations.
