Keeper Security Links Wiz Cloud Findings to Privileged Access Remediation

Keeper Security has launched an integration with Wiz that connects cloud vulnerability findings to privileged access and credential remediation, aiming to turn a cloud security alert into an identity action rather than a ticket that sits in a queue. The integration pulls risk findings from Wiz into Keeper, maps them to the identities and infrastructure involved, and routes them into remediation workflows that a team can track to closure.

The connection targets the gap between detecting a cloud risk and fixing the access behind it. Cloud security platforms are good at surfacing exposures, but many of those exposures come down to credentials and standing privileges that live in a separate identity system. By bringing Wiz findings into Keeper and tying each one to the relevant identity, the integration lets a team resolve the underlying problem through credential rotation, just-in-time access, or managed onboarding, then update the status back in Wiz so the finding is closed on both sides.

Keeper says the workflow preserves its zero-knowledge model, so the credentials and secrets involved in remediation remain encrypted and inaccessible to Keeper itself even as findings move between the two systems. The result is meant to be a loop in which a cloud exposure is detected, attributed to an identity, remediated through privileged access controls, and verified as resolved, without security teams managing cloud risk and identity risk as disconnected tasks.

The integration sits within Keeper’s privileged access management line, which extends the company’s vault beyond password storage into the governance of who holds elevated access and for how long. Keeper has also been building biometric and passwordless entry into its products, having introduced biometric passkey login for its password vaults using FIDO2 and WebAuthn while keeping biometric data on the user’s device.

Tying cloud findings to identity remediation has become a common pattern among identity and cloud security vendors. Saviynt, for one, partnered with Wiz to manage non-human identities and AI agents across cloud environments, reflecting the same push to govern the credentials and machine identities that cloud exposures so often trace back to.
