Intercede has launched MyID Authenticate, a platform that issues and manages passkeys for centrally managed enterprise sign-in across Windows desktops, cloud applications and older systems. The first release, version 2026.1, is available now, with a major European public-sector digital services organization serving as its lead customer.
The product combines a FIDO authentication server with a passkey issuer. It supports both device-bound credentials, which remain on a particular authenticator, and synced passkeys that can be available across a user’s devices. Organizations can deploy the platform on premises, in the cloud or in a hybrid environment.
Windows 10 and Windows 11 support includes offline sign-in using an encrypted local cache. Administrators can also configure a workstation to lock when a security key is removed and select the associated account when the key is inserted. Those controls extend the credential’s role beyond a browser login to the employee’s desktop session.
MyID Authenticate supports SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect, two protocols used to connect services with an identity provider. RADIUS integration covers VPNs and other legacy access systems. The platform also supports directory-independent deployments, automated provisioning through SCIM and integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
Alongside passkeys, supported authentication methods include mobile push, biometrics, one-time passwords and hardware tokens. Intercede describes the architecture as crypto-agile, allowing cryptographic components to be changed as requirements evolve, and says it supports post-quantum cryptography. The company also provides a migration path for customers using MyID MFA.
The launch follows Intercede’s latest trading update, in which it projected approximately £10.85 million in first-half revenue and disclosed about £3 million in new orders and renewals. Its MyID business serves government, defense, aerospace and enterprise customers.
Earlier this year, the company secured approximately $2.6 million in MyID awards and renewals, covering software licenses, subscriptions and professional services. MyID CMS manages the issuance and lifecycle of credentials such as public key infrastructure certificates and FIDO authenticators.
MyID Authenticate can integrate with that credential-management platform for organizations requiring centrally governed issuance and high-assurance access. Intercede plans to demonstrate the new product at GovWare in Singapore from October 13 to 15.
