Intelligent Bio Solutions Secures 33 New Customer Accounts in Fiscal Q1, Cites Strong UK Growth

Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. has announced that it secured 33 new customer accounts during its first fiscal quarter for the period ending September 30, 2025. This represents a 50 percent year-over-year increase in new account acquisition, expanding the company’s total active account base to over 480.

The company attributes the growth to broadening adoption of its fingerprint-based drug testing technology. This growth is not based on selling biometrics as a technology, but rather on selling operational uptime as a business solution. The CEO noted that the value proposition lies in helping organizations “streamline screening, minimize downtime, and enhance compliance”. For industries like logistics, maritime, and construction (where INBS saw its strongest growth), taking an employee offline for a traditional, invasive drug test represents a significant operational cost. The INBS non-invasive, rapid fingerprint scan solves this specific business problem.

The success of this strategy is reflected in the company’s market penetration data. Approximately 91 percent of the new accounts were first-time adopters of the INBS drug screening solution, indicating that the company is successfully creating a new market for rapid, on-site testing rather than simply competing in the existing lab-test market. The remaining 9 percent represented expansion within existing customer organizations.

While the company’s growth was particularly strong in the United Kingdom, the most significant long-term strategic signal in the announcement was its entry into “government administration” as a newly entered sector. While commercial contracts in transportation and logistics provide a solid foundation, landing government clients signals a new level of product legitimacy, security, and reliability. This single new sector opens a massive new addressable market, from public transport authorities to law enforcement and probation services, that could potentially dwarf the company’s current commercial business.
