
The Southeast Asian software provider Innov8tif has integrated ID R&D’s anti-spoofing technology into its customer onboarding platform. Innov8tif will specifically be making use of ID R&D’s IDLive Face, which will provide passive liveness detection for the OkayFace solution.
OkayFace is part of Innov8tif’s EMAS eKYC onboarding platform, which combines facial recognition with document reading to confirm people’s identities during registration. The solution will now get a boost from IDLive Face, which is able to verify the identity of a live user without any specific actions like blinking or taking a selfie.
“Our goal is to help businesses deliver both customer experience excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements,” said Innov8tif CEO George Lee. “ID R&D enables us to lower friction at the critical point of opening new accounts, thus reducing abandonment and user problems, but without sacrificing security.”

In the past few months, ID R&D has generated headlines for its voice recognition and event detection technology. The facial recognition partnership with Innov8tif demonstrates the breadth of the company’s biometric portfolio, and comes less than a month after the company first unveiled its passive liveness detection technology.
