Incode Technologies has achieved FedRAMP Ready status for its biometric identity verification platform, advancing the company’s ability to provide secure and compliant digital identity solutions to U.S. federal agencies.
It’s a key step toward full FedRAMP Authorization and demonstrates Incode’s alignment with federal security and privacy standards. FedRAMP, or the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, standardizes security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud services used by U.S. government agencies. FedRAMP Ready status confirms that Incode has completed a readiness review by an accredited Third Party Assessment Organization, with results approved by the FedRAMP Program Management Office.
Incode said the designation strengthens its position as a trusted partner in government digital transformation efforts. “FedRAMP Ready is an important milestone in our mission to support U.S. federal agencies with secure, high-assurance identity verification,” said Ricardo Amper, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Incode. “We are committed to completing the authorization process and helping agencies deliver seamless digital services while protecting privacy and strengthening security.”
The company’s platform combines proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning with advanced deepfake detection to counter increasingly sophisticated attacks. Incode has been ranked among the top performers by the National Institute of Standards and Technology for facial recognition accuracy, reports being four times better at identifying fraud than industry alternatives, and holds the world’s first iBeta certification for passive liveness detection. In 2024, the company completed more than 4.1 billion identity verifications.
In addition to its FedRAMP progress, Incode maintains certifications including SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001, and compliance with ISO/IEC 30107-3 for presentation attack detection, along with Kantara Identity Assurance Level 2. The company said these measures form a comprehensive security framework designed to meet stringent government and enterprise requirements.
FedRAMP Ready status allows Incode to engage with federal agencies to modernize citizen-facing services, combat synthetic identity fraud, and implement secure digital onboarding and workforce authentication programs. The company also supports use cases such as age verification for regulated services and fraud prevention across public-sector digital channels.
Incode said it will next work with its agency sponsor to obtain a full Authorization to Operate under the FedRAMP program.
