FindBiometrics is in Johannesburg, reporting live from ID4Africa 2019, where the biometrics industry is convening to help realize the future of next-generation identity technology in Africa. All week we are bringing you live audio interviews recorded on the exhibition floor with biometrics industry experts helping transform identity services across the continent.
Peter O’Neill, President of FindBiometrics and Mobile ID World spoke with David Gerulski, Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, Integrated Biometrics. Their conversation starts with the recent launch of Integrated Biometrics’ detective series product: Danno – the world’s smallest, most affordable FAP 30 fingerprint sensor device. Gerulski goes on to share thoughts on the company’s recent successes, including CBP’s order of the biometrics specialist’s Kojak 10-fingerprint scanner solution for deployment to more than 5,000 workstations across various ports of entry.
The conversation moves onto Integrated Biometrics’ presence in the African market, with Gerulski explaining how IB’s rugged handheld devices, equipped with LES technology, offer numerous benefits including functionality in harsh outdoor conditions.
