UIDAI Sets Phased Aadhaar Service Fee Increases From October 1
India’s UIDAI will raise Aadhaar update fees in two steps, with demographic updates increasing to ₹75 and biometric updates to ₹125 from October 1, 2025. A second adjustment in 2028 will set the fees at ₹90 and ₹150, while enrolment remains free and mandatory biometric updates for children aged five to seven and 15 to 17 continue at no cost.
