Feedzai has announced the opening of its new U.S. headquarters in New York City. The expansion includes a dedicated Client Center designed to foster collaboration between financial institutions, AI experts, and industry peers in developing innovative fraud prevention solutions.
The strategic move comes just weeks after Feedzai’s partnership with Mastercard to enhance global fraud prevention capabilities, highlighting the company’s growing influence in the financial technology sector. The new headquarters will serve as a hub for internal operations while enabling closer collaboration with banks, fintech companies, and regulators in one of the world’s premier financial centers.
“Our new hub isn’t just an office—it’s an incubator for real change. More than 25 percent of our team holds PhDs in AI, and that deep expertise drives everything we do,” said Nuno Sebastiao, Co-Founder and CEO of Feedzai. “The Client Center will allow clients to work alongside their peers and our leading AI experts. It’s a collaboration where we’ll turn everyday challenges in fraud prevention into opportunities to innovate together.”
The expansion reflects Feedzai’s response to the growing challenges in digital financial security. The company’s data has previously shown significant increases in online fraud attempts, with a 23 percent jump in card fraud attempts reported in late 2021. Since then, the company has continued to enhance its technological capabilities, including its strategic acquisition of Revelock to strengthen its biometric security offerings.
“New York is the ideal home for Feedzai’s mission—to stay ahead of fraud by bringing the brightest minds together in one of the world’s most innovative financial hubs,” added Mariana Jordao, SVP of Operations at Feedzai. “We’re excited to contribute to the city’s thriving tech community while further cementing our leadership in AI-driven financial crime solutions.”
