FacePhi’s employees will soon be working out of a new facility in Spain. The identity verification company is headquartered in Alicante on the Mediterranean coast, and will be moving from its current offices to the Panoramis Life & Business workspace in the port area of the city.
FacePhi is making the move in an effort to improve the overall quality of life for its staff. In that regard, the news is in keeping with FacePhi’s recent decision to transition to a four-day work week to provide employees with a more appealing work-life balance.
The Panoramis space offers additional lifestyle benefits, including restaurants and a gym that offers nutrition and wellness services and scenic views of the Mediterranean. The building also has co-working spaces and multipurpose offices for those who are on the clock. FacePhi employs more than 160 employees in Spain, and it hopes that the transition to Panoramis will create a happier and healthier environment as it works to refine its identity verification tech.
“Alicante is not only the city where we were born, it is also our home and the place where we want to continue developing our technology,” said FacePhi President and CEO Javier Mira. “Now we want to do it in front of the sea, in a unique environment that symbolizes the quality of life that this area offers. Moving our offices to Panoramis is proof of the strong commitment we have with the city and its goal of being a driving force for digital transformation in Spain and Europe.”
The government of Spain listed FacePhi as a strategic company for the country in November of 2021. In addition to its Alicante headquarters, FacePhi has maintained a FacePhi APAC subsidiary in South Korea since 2019, and established a FacePhi LATAM subsidiary in Uruguay earlier this year.
