The rest of this week’s most-read articles turned to more product-focused announcements. For one, NEC made news with its announcement that it had teamed up with US-based BlackRidge, whose network security solution can be used to shore up the security of NEC’s own NeoFace facial recognition system:

And finally, ImageWare got its share of the spotlight this week with the news that its flagship biometric authentication platform is now available for macOS.
