Didit Puts Unico’s Brazilian Identity Network Behind Its Self-Serve Checks

September 4, 2026

Didit has selected Unico IDCloud as the identity verification network behind its checks on Brazilian individuals, opening a route for small and medium-sized businesses to reach infrastructure that until now has been sold mainly to large enterprises.

Unico works through consultative enterprise sales, and says it counts four of the five largest private banks in Brazil and nine of the ten largest retailers among its customers. Didit sells the opposite way, self-service and developer-first, with public pricing, no minimums and 500 free verifications a month. The partnership connects the two, so a smaller company can use Unico verification without an enterprise sales cycle.

Unico says its network covers 96 percent of Brazil’s economically active population in a database of verified credentials. It puts verification of legitimate users at 100 percent assertiveness in under three seconds, with a high first-attempt success rate that reduces drop-off during onboarding.

On the Didit side the platform covers identity verification, business verification, anti-money-laundering screening and real-time transaction monitoring, composed in a no-code workflow builder and delivered through a single API. The company says more than 2,000 businesses build on it across more than 220 countries and territories, with support for over 14,000 document types and more than 48 languages.

Didit also runs a Model Context Protocol server, which lets a developer describe the compliance flow they need in a single prompt and have an AI coding assistant generate the implementation. Both companies point to that route when they describe integration taking minutes.

Didit says it is the only provider formally attested by an EU member-state government as safer than in-person verification, citing Spain’s Tesoro, the Banco de España and SEPBLAC, the country’s financial intelligence unit.

“While our consultative sales model continues to serve massive organizations with custom requirements, this partnership connects Didit to the Unico IDCloud platform, creating a frictionless path for small and medium-sized businesses to instantly protect their platforms,” said Fernanda Beato, general manager for Brazil at Unico.

“Brazil is one of the most demanding identity markets in the world, and Unico has built something genuinely exceptional there,” said Alberto Rosas, co-founder and chief executive of Didit. “What Didit adds is reach: any company, from a two-person startup to a scaling marketplace, can now turn it on in minutes.”
