CyberloQ has partnered with IngenID to integrate voice biometric authentication and audio deepfake detection into CyberloQ’s location-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) platform, adding a biometric factor and voice-specific fraud defenses to its existing approach.
The companies said the integration is intended to raise assurance for remote authentication and transaction approvals by combining CyberloQ’s location-based signals with IngenID’s voice biometrics, including presentation attack detection (PAD) and audio deepfake detection capabilities. The combined offering is positioned for use cases where both identity assurance and fraud resistance are required across channels such as call centers and mobile onboarding.
CyberloQ CEO Chris Jackson said adding voice biometrics and audio deepfake detection strengthens the company’s MFA framework. IngenID CEO Peter Soufleris said pairing voice biometrics with location-based authentication is designed to create a stronger defense against fraud, particularly as synthetic audio becomes a more common tool for social engineering and account takeover attempts.
The announcement frames the joint solution as a layered MFA model spanning multiple factor types, including biometric verification (“something you are”) alongside device- and knowledge-based factors. Voice has long been deployed as a biometric modality in customer service environments, and interest has increased as organizations look for friction-reducing authentication options that can support both low-latency user experiences and higher-assurance workflows.
At the same time, the rapid adoption of generative AI has elevated the threat profile for voice-based channels. Deepfake audio can be used to mimic legitimate users and undermine traditional voiceprint-based controls if anti-spoofing measures are not robust. By explicitly bundling voice biometric authentication with audio deepfake detection, the partners are signaling that fraud-resistance and PAD features are intended to be first-class requirements, rather than add-ons, when voice is used as an authentication factor.
IngenID’s voice technology is positioned as multi-language and designed to support PAD alongside audio deepfake detection features. CyberloQ and IngenID cited target markets including banks, fintech firms, and payment processors, where authentication often needs to balance user experience with fraud controls and regulatory expectations.
