CrowdStrike and CLEAR have partnered to put person-based identity verification inside CrowdStrike’s Falcon security platform, so that a risk detection can trigger a live check on whoever is behind the account.
The integration connects CLEAR1, CLEAR’s identity platform, to Falcon. When Falcon flags potential risk, it calls CLEAR1 to verify the human in real time, and the result is weighed alongside other security signals in deciding whether the activity is allowed, investigated or blocked.
CLEAR1 establishes confidence in a person through a multi-layered approach, capturing biometrics and a government-issued identity document and checking them against authoritative sources. The companies say correlating those verification results with signals from across Falcon lets security teams surface suspicious patterns that look legitimate when viewed on their own.
The verification hooks into Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Charlotte Agentic SOAR, which the companies say allows person-based checks to sit inside existing security workflows without adding unnecessary friction.
“Identity is at the center of how organizations operate and how adversaries attack. Bringing CrowdStrike and CLEAR together gives customers a new way to put high-assurance person-based verification to work as part of their security strategy,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “This is what the Falcon platform is built for.”
CrowdStrike and CLEAR point to attackers who exploit legitimate credentials and trusted access pathways to blend into normal digital activity, and say the combination lets companies verify the device and the human rather than the credential alone.
“At CLEAR, we’ve spent more than 16 years building technology that helps establish confidence in a person, not just a credential, account or device,” said Brett Romanoff, EVP of CLEAR1. “Together with CrowdStrike, that verification is now available when security decisions are being made. By verifying the person when risk emerges, organizations can make more informed decisions while keeping trusted users moving.”
CLEAR counts more than 43 million members across travel, stadium and mobile use, and says it does not sell biometric or sensitive personal data.
CrowdStrike has been assembling identity partnerships around Falcon for some time, including identity-centric security integrations with SailPoint. The CLEAR integration is available for existing customers of both companies to activate now.
