Corsight to Detail FRT Deployment Success in Closed Session at ISC West

Corsight AI will highlight its facial recognition security solutions during a closed roundtable discussion at ISC West 2025 next week, drawing from its ongoing partnership with Mall of America, one of the largest retail venues in the United States. The session will focus on how advanced facial intelligence technology has been leveraged to enhance security measures at the iconic mall, addressing increasing concerns over public safety and organized retail crime.

The roundtable, featuring representatives from Mall of America, will provide attendees with real-world examples of how Corsight AI’s facial recognition tools are applied effectively in challenging environments. The technology is specifically designed to accurately identify individuals of interest in crowded, low-light, or fast-moving settings, scenarios where traditional security measures frequently underperform.

Mall of America implemented Corsight AI’s facial recognition system in early 2024 in response to rising security incidents, including violent altercations and shootings. The system matches visitors’ faces against a watchlist, alerting security staff to potential threats for immediate human review.

“Our system is not scanning faces to find out who you are,” explained Will Bernhjelm, VP of security at Mall of America, emphasizing privacy and the accuracy of the technology. The system undergoes up to three layers of human verification before any action is taken.

Corsight AI’s North America Sales Director, Shay Poleg, emphasized the importance of AI-driven solutions for retailers dealing with escalating losses due to theft and fraud. “Traditional security measures are not enough to stop shoplifting, organized retail crime gangs, and employee fraud,” Poleg said, noting the significant financial impact these issues have on businesses nationwide.

ISC West 2025 will gather security industry leaders, technology providers, and law enforcement professionals to explore innovative solutions addressing global safety threats and crime challenges. Corsight AI’s demonstration aims to underscore the practical applications and effectiveness of facial recognition technology in enhancing public safety and reducing retail crime.
