CONTACT to Take Majority Stake in team neusta

CONTACT Software Group says it will acquire a majority stake in team neusta SE, a German digital agency group, in a transaction that the companies describe as a strategic combination of two Bremen-based, family-rooted businesses. CONTACT characterizes itself as an industrial digital transformation software provider, while team neusta is positioned as a delivery- and consulting-focused digital agency group. Both companies say team neusta will continue operating independently and will retain its brand following the deal.

In its announcement, CONTACT frames the move as a response to growing demand for end-to-end execution in large digitization programs spanning industry and the public sector. The emphasis is on implementation scale and delivery capacity, with CONTACT signalling that combining its software platform strengths with team neusta’s consulting and project execution capabilities is intended to improve its ability to support complex transformations.

The companies say the full closing is planned for the first quarter of 2026. Financial terms and the purchase price were not disclosed in the announcements.

CONTACT also highlights the expected scale of the combined group, stating that the CONTACT group will have around 1,600 employees after the transaction. It describes the enlarged organization as one of the largest independent digitization providers in Germany, and points to an intent to combine development, product capability, services, and AI know-how.

One specific operational detail in the release is a reference to building a dedicated service unit focused on implementation of the CONTACT Elements platform and the use of CONTACT Fourier AI technology. CONTACT frames this as a way to strengthen delivery capacity while complementing its existing partner ecosystem, suggesting a more structured approach to scaling implementations of its platform and AI tooling.

Executives from both companies stress continuity and regional identity alongside the strategic rationale. CONTACT CEO Maximilian Zachries describes the transaction as a commitment to Bremen as an IT location and links the deal to the development of solutions incorporating “disruptive AI applications.” team neusta executive Carsten Meyer-Heder, identified as the previous main shareholder, describes CONTACT as a financially strong strategic partner aligned with team neusta’s direction, and says the partnership supports team neusta’s next growth stage while preserving its brand.
