BIO-key has announced a strategic partnership with Arrow ECS Iberia to expand its Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across Spain and Portugal. The collaboration, which adds Arrow ECS Iberia to BIO-key’s Channel Alliance Partner program, aims to strengthen the company’s presence in the Iberian market.
The partnership will be officially unveiled at the Arrow ECS Event on April 2, 2025, at MEO ARENA in Lisbon, where over 800 partners, technology leaders, and cybersecurity experts are expected to attend. The announcement follows BIO-key’s recent expansion in European markets, including a successful deployment for Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Arrow ECS Iberia will provide comprehensive support for BIO-key’s suite of solutions, including Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Identity-Bound Biometrics (IBB). The distributor’s services will encompass pre-sales consultation, technical training, and deployment support, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with NIS2 and GDPR directives.
The partnership targets key sectors including financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure, and public sector organizations.
BIO-key’s expansion into the Iberian market builds on its track record of implementing large-scale IAM solutions, including recent projects securing digital access for 2.6 million California students and rapid deployment capabilities demonstrated in its four-day implementation for a defense agency.
The partnership is expected to enhance BIO-key’s market penetration in Southern Europe while providing Arrow ECS Iberia’s customers with advanced identity and access management solutions that meet evolving security challenges and regulatory requirements.
