AU10TIX has introduced a new document verification tool called AnyDoc Authentication, aimed at improving detection of forged or manipulated non-ID documents such as utility bills, bank statements, and business licenses. The tool is designed to assist organizations in identifying supporting document fraud that may otherwise bypass traditional identity verification systems.
Addressing Gaps in Document-Based Verification
AnyDoc Authentication applies over 150 artificial intelligence-based checks to examine uploaded documents for signs of forgery or manipulation. It analyzes textual inconsistencies, font mismatches, structural anomalies, and metadata irregularities, including timestamps and issuing authority information. The tool supports a broad range of file types and formats, including scanned images, PDFs, and various financial and legal documents. AU10TIX says the system delivers results within five to twenty seconds and reduces the volume of manual reviews by up to 90 percent.
The tool is positioned to support verification processes related to know-your-customer (KYC), know-your-business (KYB), and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. By cross-referencing document data with external sources, it aims to reduce false positives and detect synthetic or deepfake documents. Sectors expected to benefit from the technology include financial services, corporate compliance, crypto, hospitality, travel, healthcare, and education.
A Broader Product Expansion
AnyDoc Authentication follows AU10TIX’s recent rollout of a real-time risk monitoring feature designed to counter AI-generated fraud. That earlier release introduced continuous risk analysis capabilities integrated into AU10TIX’s AML-ready platform, offering adaptive screening during the customer onboarding process.
AU10TIX’s identity platform currently includes biometric verification, ID and address authentication, and tools for detecting deepfake content. The addition of AnyDoc Authentication expands the platform’s scope to cover verification of supporting documents that are often required in customer and business onboarding scenarios.
AnyDoc Authentication is now available and designed to integrate with existing AU10TIX workflows and can be implemented across a variety of industries with document-based verification requirements.
