Key Source International (KSI) has Announced their KSI-1700 Line of Keyboards Now Support bioLock® Software for Use with SAP®

KSI June 13, 2013: Key Source International‘s KSI-1700 line of keyboards using industry-standard fingerprint sensors plus integrated smart card readers for contactless smart cards will now support bioLock software from realtime North America Inc. as a solution to password replacement in SAP. The bioLock software, which is designed for use with SAP, processes the biometric templates collected at the keyboard and stored in the smart card reader and allows for fraud prevention and identity management of SAP users. The keyboards will have fingerprint sensors from, for example, Lumidigm and digitalPersona as well as integrated smart card readers from RF Ideas or HID.

The only biometric system certified by SAP is bioLock software from realtime North America Inc. which manages log-on and re-authentication at other levels within the SAP system. Insider fraud is thereby prevented in areas such as data loss, payroll time & attendance, point-of-sale, financial fraud or inventory shrinkage.
