GSA Adds Precise Biometrics’ Tactivo for iPhone 5 to Approved Products List

As of today, Precise Biometrics can add the newly announced Tactivo biometric authentication solution for the iPhone 5 to the list of iOS peripherals certified and approved by the US Government Services Administration (GSA). This certification allows American government agencies to comply with OMB M 11-11, which requires federal employees to use PIV cards when accessing resources.

With this certification, Tactivo for iPhone 5 joins Precise Biometrics’ security solutions for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, the third and fourth generation iPads, as well as iPad 2, all of which are GSA approved.
