Daon Americas President Conor White has been invited to speak at the National Association of Federal Credit Unions’ annual conference. Entitled “Convenient Biometric Authentication in a Mobile World”, White’s half-hour presentation will spotlight the advantages of mobile biometric authentication, focusing on Daon’s IdentityX Platform.
While a number of biometric authentication systems are being adopted by a range of organizations across the financial services industry, Daon’s platform has enjoyed a particularly high profile over recent months. It made big waves a little over a year ago with its successful integration into USAA’s mobile app, with users having proven enthusiastic to try out the app voice recognition and facial recognition login options. MasterCard’s Identity Check system, which is to be rolled out this summer, is also based on IdentityX, and Gulf Bank Kuwait just announced that it’s also going to use the platform for biometric login on its mobile app.
NAFCU has been enthusiastic about Daon’s technology for some time, having named the company a “Preferred Partner” earlier this year. Next week, its conference attendees will get to see why, with White’s talk scheduled for June 15th.
